Stage 2 - Design Consultation

| Let's talk againWe do two things to kick off the design process: 1 - Order a topographical survey of the property. Getting this done first helps us not only design specifically for your site, it's also usually required for your building permit, we will determine the necessity of a survey when we begin the project. 2 - Sit down with you and discuss your project in detail. Do you want it to blend in with the neighbourhood? Stand out with something a bit more modern? Two storeys? Enclosed garage? We ask a lot of questions. Any ideas, sketches, pictures and opinions you have at this stage are very helpful. The foremost authority on your lifestyle is you. At Laneside we don't want to push our ideas on you, we want to turn your goals and requirements into a functional home. |
Stage 3 - Design
The fun partAt this stage we go back to our office, sit down with your ideas and create a preliminary design for you. Don't like the first draft? We usually get things pretty close with our preliminary plans;
But if not, no big deal, tell us what you want changed. We'll change it. | The fun part

Stage 4 - Permit
The not-so fun part
Not so fun, so we'll do it for you. We work with the City directly; they know us there.
We'll complete your entire building permit application and organize the permitting process ourselves.
